I love the Jungian archetype exploration and “woo woo” stuff that both of these books bring to the table. I’ve gotten a lot out of both of these reads. However I find they both subscribe to an older brand of feminism that is both dated and sometimes pretty gender essentialist. Are there any contemporary reads about spiritual journeys that incorporate more expansive/less dualistic views of gender? I know that’s sort of baked in to the whole Jungian archetype thing but I am curious if anyone has suggestions. Looking for non-fiction, not novels that incorporate these themes. Thanks 🙂
