– Cloud Cuckoo Land (Anthony Doerr). I’ll be honest, some of my friends have told they gave up on this one after a few chapters. I didn’t feel extremely engaged until about page 200. But if you can make it that far (and the library setting shows up really early, like on page 10, so you’ll have that to help you), you just might love this book. It’s really good.
– The Library Book (Susan Orlean). This is a work of nonfiction about a lot of things: the largest library fire that’s ever taken place in the US, Los Angeles history, and the author’s personal experience with libraries, to name a few. It’s a great read.
