Suggest me a book with the dark feel of Wednesday. With the rain clouds and dark mystery vibe. With a loveable yet dark main character. With a world that somehow despite all the gloom is still loveable and enjoyable. A non-depressing book in spite of the above listed things.

If YA is all right with you, maybe try Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend. It’s more fanciful, but the main character and overall setting had something of a Wednesday vibe for me.

{{Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman}} might fit. The MC is kind of a loveable idiot who finds himself in an alternate world below London inhabited by all the people who “fell through the cracks”. Very dark, magical place. He teams up with a Wednesday-esque character and goes on a reluctant adventure.
