short christmassy novel that’s not too focused on romance.

I’d love to read a short-ish novel (not much more than 300 pages if possible) that’ll get me in the christmas spirit. Maybe a really cliché story about going back to a small hometown for the holidays or something like that. Most of these stories heavily focus on some sort of romance, whether that’s a childhood sweethearts sort of thing or something else. I’d love something that doesn’t focus on romance so much (doesn’t have to be completely missing, but definitely not the main focus).

It could even involve some sort of mystery or crime solving aspect, just not too dark if possible 🙂 Thank you in advance!
