What author(s) write(s) books like Michael Crichton, and which one is your favorite title?
I really enjoyed most of his books, esp Sphere and Congo. I always liked the science’y part of the story/setup, and of course the thriller aspects of his books.
I think I’ve read most (all?) of his books. Is there another author whose books are similar?
Thanks.

You may enjoy {{The Martian by Andy Weir}}, I know I did.
I just finished Sphere and loved it too. You may enjoy **Childhood’s End, by Arthur C. Clarke**, and certainly **Project Hail Mary, by Andy Weir** will be right up your alley. You may also enjoy **I, Robot, by Asimov** if you haven’t read that yet!
Look into Joe Haldeman — _The Forever War_ is a classic for good reason, but he also has a (short) novella called “Seasons” that I think about a couple times a week, still years after reading it
