I’m trying to find any English language kid/teen books with a Brazilian protagonist. I have renters from Brazil with two boys 10 & and 12. I get the impression that they are struggling to adjust and hoping to find something for them.
I’d also take suggestions for books about an immigrant protagonist (from anywhere) as well.

I’m not sure about how many are translated into English but Moacyr Scliar has books for young people (though set in Brazil) and many of them look at different themes like immigration, belonging, discrimination and identity.
