I’m on a book reading marathon and I need more of this trope. It would definitely be better if the guy has to do a lot of grovelling. Ex drama is good too. Something like “The Wrong Bride” by Catharina Maura, or rejected mate trope in fiction and the guy chooses her but now has really try hard to win her back. Spicy scenes would be good too😁.
