I’m wanting to gift my friend a new read for Christmas, but I enjoy thriller and horror while she is more romance and fantasy/romantasy, so I’m needing help with recommendations outside of my genre. She has read and enjoyed many Colleen Hoover books, ACOTAR, Archers Voice, Twisted, Things We Never Got Over series, etc. Is there anything you guys can think of that would be awesome to receive as a gift? Thanks!

The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent (Fantasy/Romance)
Wildwood Dancing – Juliete Marillier
Fourth Wing
A taste of gold and iron
A marvellous light
TK Kingfisher’s Paladin’s Grace series is a cozy romantasy
Fourth Wing
The Winternight Trilogy
The **All Souls** trilogy by Deborah Harkness (starting with *A Discovery of Witches*).
Once Upon a December by Amy Reichert
Once upon a broken heart by Stephanie Garber – YA
Mortal Skin by Lily Mayne – LGBTQ
Both are the first book in series that was completed recently.
Or the Cruel Prince by Holly Black, if she for some reason haven’t read that one jet 😀
Agree with the Fourth Wing recommendations!
I agree with everyone saying Fourth Wing however I would guess there’s a good chance she’s already read it since it’s so popular, so that one may be more of a gamble!
_The Fire-Rose_ or _The Fairy Godmother_ by Mercedes Lackey. Each is the beginning of a series, but series that are loose enough that most of the novels stand on their own.
Yumi and the Nightmare Painter is my favorite book I have read this year.
