Has anybody read “58 Minutes” or “Nothing Lasts Forever”, the books the first 2 Die Hard movies were adapted from?

First please, no spoilers please! I’ve always liked the movies so I decided to try reading “58 Minutes”, the book that Die Hard 2 was based on. I tried the sample on my Kindle and it stops after a few chapters but I liked the slow build-up to the action, not that I really got any action in the sample.

So, does the action (when it does happen) live up to the build up and is the book overall good?

And as far as “Nothing Lasts Forever”, I’ve never tried reading it but is it any good?
