Something similar to Neil Gaiman?

I’ve read all of his major books and love the vibe he creates. It reminds me a lot of when i read Roald Dahl when I was younger in a way that’s hard to describe- but that feels like you’re in a different world when reading them.

Looking for a similar type of book/author of fantasy / thriller / etc – where I can read at night or on vacation where it’s relatively light hearted (no serious dark moods / murder / depressing themes about deaths) and engaging and also provides a sense of world building.
