okay so I don’t really read books for entertainment since I really enjoy TV shows for that. I personally prefer reading a book thats alot more deep and complex then your average teen cutest tv romance. I just finished the bell jar and I loved it so much!!
I’d like to be recommended something that has alot of depth to it and involves complex characters
alot of the books in these genre happen to be really sad and I don’t mind but would also prefer if you can recommend something thats not heart breaking. Thankyou for reading looking forward to what you guys have to say 🙂

The Mindf*ck Series (ignore the lame sh*tty covers, the story’s actually good!)
Pierce Brown captures the full spectrum of humanity’s emotions so well in the Red Rising series showing the million emotions and motivations behind war and peace, leading a revolution and being a father, and the limits of love and friendship.
I also might recommend Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower, the main character’s way of thinking is extremely captivating but this book (and its sequel) are not a very light or cheerful read. a lot of heavy themes.
