My friends, I am on a mission, a challange if you will. My mission is first to get my girlfriend (29) into reading and second to get her slowly into fantasy. This mission requires intrigue scheming and the help of you guys. You see, my gf “taste” is rather terrible. She watches every cr*p that is on netflix, mostly teen shows about highschoollove and what not. But there is hope. She also watches medival shows as long as there is love, gossip etc. involved.
Can you suggest me a book or series that is more on the girly side but still has fantasy aspects, preferably high fantasy aspects to lure her slowly into the good stuff? Also important, since her english is not the best, there must be a german version of it.

You can start her on some really popular ones that are very easy to read and easy to get into. and then once she gets into the genre of Fantasy you can branch her out. These ones are not super High Fantasy but they have strong Fantasy elements.
