Recently in the past few months/year, i have read the following: the bell jar (sylvia plath), the picture of dorian gray (oscar wilde), normal people (sally rooney), rooted (lyanda lynn haupt) and i’m current reading until the coffee gets cold (toshikazu kawaguchi) and portraits and observations, the essays of Truman Capote. I am open to anything, i like some romance to have a light read after any heavy or psychological reads. i am open to trying different and new genres or series as well! i am a full time student in my undergrad as to why so few books for pleasure but i have a kindle and i want to get much more into reading to divert from excess phone usage. thank you in advance!!

I read {{The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab}} immediately after Dorian Gray because I wanted to compare the Faustian trope. I liked it more than Dorian.
