I know this is going to be very vague, but the visual novel “Slay the Princess” brought me to really question some concepts of male and female as well as some more loose concepts of “I” and “you”. I guess the kind of books I am looking for would be in the realm of psychology and surrealism. Really books outlying these concepts on life in general.

Some books and readings I have enjoyed on these topics are limited. “Slay the Princess” is more like an interactive book. I found it to be an intriguing read because it made me question the concepts of male/female perspectives and how one’s decisions shape the world around us. Death was a central theme in this visual novel as well. *He: Understanding Masculine Psychology* I found to be a very interesting book semi-related to the topic. Other than that, I haven’t really delved into the topic before.

    Appreciate you.

    1. The fantasy novel “Leech” by Hiron Ennes uses a narrator who speaks as “I” but the meaning of “I” changes throughout the story.

    2. The Sign for Home by Blair Fell and River Spirit by Leila Aboulela do interesting things with POV and identity
