I’m going interrailing this winter, and am hoping to find some good literature where the character is on a multi-country journey in Europe. There’s so many about specific towns (especially London and Paris), but that’s not what I’m looking for – rather cross-border journeys. Does anyone have any suggestions? Bonus points if it’s set in or features train travel specifically, though it wouldn’t be necessary. Just so long as it’s not by plane.
The only one I can think of at the moment is Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express (takes place from Paris to Istanbul).
