I have been endlessly disappointed in the mainstream misinterpretation of BDSM (a la Fifty Shades) and would love to pick up some titles written by someone who understands how BDSM actually works and portrays it responsibly.
I would also prefer the author to be queer and/or BIPOC (honestly, both is the ideal) since the roots of BDSM are undeniably NOT cishet and white.
