Hello, I just wanted to spark some talk about this LitRPG series. I know that the genre is quite niche, but I figured someone might be here that’s not on r/litrpg .This particular series is little divisive among some people, but I am a huge fan and just want to see Stephan get the recognition he deserves!
If you haven’t read it, ill summarize:
Grant Legate is a man who was broken by the loss of his wife a number of years ago. He immersed himself in his work so heavily that he is eventually awarded with some time off and a copy of the VRMMORPG Continue Online. A series of mysterious events launch him into the game world where he gets to explores a side of the game system that no other player has had the opportunity to, he poses as an NPC. Eventually, as he continues on his journey, he unveils secrets and details that lead him on a legendary adventure.
I know some people feel the MC is too depressive, so it is hard to get through if that is off putting.
As well the Series does deal in topics of suicide and suicidal ideation, I recognize not everyone is comfortable with that, though I personally think that it adds great depth to Grant that other books in the genre fail to meet.
