My nephew has always loved getting books as gifts and not to assume anything unduly, but has gravitated in the past towards highly colorful graphic novels with a queer or neurodivergent element. In the past, Molly Osterag’s “Girl From the Sea,” the Nimona series, “Adora and the Distance” have been huge hits, like reading until the covers fall apart hits. Anyone know of graphic novels with a similar tone? He’s an advanced reader for his age and seems to be able to grasp complex concepts but is imaginative and sensitive.
