Hey guys, I am looking for a book in which a detective is invinted to a party, like a murder mystery party and is forced to investigate the murder.
The book should take place in house or a relatively closed off area and the detective isn’t really supposed to be there.
Something like Glass Onion.

The Finishing Stroke by Ellery Queen fits a bit
