An apologue, the novel tells the story of a group of 15 dogs, kennelled at a veterinary clinic in Toronto, who are suddenly gifted by the gods with human consciousness and language.

The Mirror Visitor series is kinda about a god interfering in lives and the world. I can’t say much more without spoilers. I don’t know if it’s exactly what you want or even worth it. I just finished it and I have mixed feelings. The first two books were amazing, (political intrigue, great world building, good fantasy elements). The last two books weren’t great. Overall a good story, just written poorly at the end if you’re okay with that.
