Hi all! I want to expand my son’s library that can include books for now (he’s not quite two yet), and books to read as he gets older. I’m looking for beautifully illustrated or quality writing in the books (not just fluff/little substance). Specifically, what are some of your favourite books for children that focus around having a strong, resilient mindset?

He’d have to be a little older, but Fortunately by Remy Charlip is an interesting and fun read. I see there’s another newer book by Michael Foreman called Fortunately, Unfortunately.
Edit to add: I also used to read That’s Good That’s Bad by Margery Cuyler to my preschool/pre-k students.
The Little Engine That Could is the classic in this regard
Giraffes Can’t Dance for littles too
