**The Cabin at the End of the World** by Paul Tremblay. Note, it’s pretty brutal. But so is Black Mirror, often.

Friday Black by Nana Kwame Adjei Brenyah, or his most recent book, chain gang all stars.. The first is short stories and the latter a full length novel. Both gave me shades of the darker black mirror stuff with some humour, dystopia, but still very human/real

Circadian Algorithms is kinda like a Black Mirror episode where the new technology is a procedure that allows you to get by with less sleep, though obviously there are side effects.

    4. Ted chiang’s short stories aren’t as bleak as black mirror but I find them similarly contemplative. There’s a free one published online by the New Yorker that is a good introduction

Radicalized Four Tales of our Present Moment by Cory Doctorow, it’s four novellas in one book, so the whole thing is like a season of Black Mirror. They were supposed to make a black mirror book with him doing one of the stories in it, but I think that’s been cancelled. He’s really good at the near future dystopian stuff.
