Howdy everyone! While I would consider myself to be somewhat well-read, when it comes to short stories I can’t say that I’m particularly well-versed. In my book collection I currently have a copy of Ursula K. LeGuin’s The Wind’s Twelve Quarters, Neil Gaiman’s Trigger Warnings, and a Kafka collection. What are some of your favorite short story collections? I’m open to literally anything by anyone, so long as it’s something that you love!

I love books with connected short stories such as with recurring characters or similar settings. Winesburg Ohio by Sherwood Anderson, The Dying Earth by Jack Vance, and Dandelion Wine or the Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury are standouts.
How Long Till Black Future Month by N.K Jemisin
Lesser Known Monsters of the 21st Century by Kim Fu

[The Weird: A Compendium of Strange and Dark Stories](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12344319-the-weird) is a fantastic anthology of short stories. It’s a massive doorstopper of a book — it has over a hundred stories by different authors (including Kafka and Gaiman) with a wide variety of subjects and styles. I’ve found a bunch of authors that I love through this collection.
