Or just similar to the game in general. I’d love something just as atmospheric, poetic, creepy, scary, haunting (yet beautiful), full of folklore, and woods/forests. Not required but it’s a plus if it’s Scandinavian or set during the winter. I really just want that game in book form 😭

I’m not sure if it’s available in English, but IIRC [Svenska Folksagor](https://www.bonnierfakta.se/bocker/157202/svenska-folksagor/) is solid.
In general, any good collection of Swedish folk tales should scratch your itch. I saw one in English called Swedish Folk Tales while finding the above link, but I’m not sure whether it’s any good.
Year Walk (which I loved too – probably even more so because I was living outside Sweden when I played it) is basically a mashup of Swedish folk tales, framed by an old tradition. That haunting beauty is kind of a staple of our folklore imo.
