Basically title. I want stories about characters who are very important to each other (lovers, siblings, good friends, parent & child, whatever) and the lengths they go to to protect each other/help each other. I prefer fantasy or sci fi, but honestly everything goes. Bonus points if they’re both women
The song “Song of the Abyss” by Aviators captures the vibe I want perfectly. Another reference point is the Locked Tomb series (Camilla and Palamedes, mainly, but obviously Harrow and Gideon too)
