Beautiful prose with slow pasing like The Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss?
I really like Patrick Rothfuss’s “King Killer Chronicle” books and was looking for something similar in style. I listened to them as audiobooks and found the experience really nice. Thanks in advance.
China Miéville writes slow, wordy & beautiful fantasy novels. Try Perdido Street Station, the Scar, and Iron Council, all set in his fantasy land Bas Lag. The guy who narrates the audiobooks, John Lee, is the best reader I’ve come across too, I reckon.
Ihrenglass on
I find that Peter S Beagle, Patricia McKillip and John Crowley have a fairly similar writing style to Rothfuss.
