Hi, I just finished a few books by Louis L’amour, the first 4 of the Sackett Series. I absolutely loved them, especially because I have been to all the places mentioned. I even had a map pulled up and would follow along with the characters.
But my favorite part was learning about history along the way!
However, I felt like none of the characters besides the main one were completely fleshed out.
I would love some good recommendations on adventure books where the character goes on a long journey across different places. It can be fantasy or sci-fi as well! And hopefully good dialogue and character development. It can be a series too!
Thanks

I loved the Bloody Jack/Mary Faber series, its about a young woman who sails around the world and experiences history events first hand.
Far Corelay, GE Uke. Great character development. Lots of world-building. I just finished it and I can’t get enough. lol
