Recommendations for the next book me and my 9 year old daughter read
I’ve been reading to my daughter every night since Covid. We’ve gone through all Harry Potter series, all Percy Jackson and spin offs and are now finishing up the golden compass trilogy. I would love to find a new series to read to her!
Maybe Hunger Games? Forget how old I was when I read it so can’t say for sure how appropriate it is, but I think I read it around when I read Percy Jackson

The Hobbit.
It’s a classic.

Fablehaven. Kids discover their grandparents run a preserve for magical creatures. Very much in line with Harry Potter and Percy Jackson

Look up Jeff Wheeler. He has several series that intermingle and she might enjoy those. They have magic (a different vein than HP and PJ) and might capture you both

Or upside down magic! They’re fun and easy to read (may be below her reading level, but they’re lighthearted and may give you time to go thru other recommendations
