two friends and i have a book club together and november is my month to pick what we read. i’ve put in a lot of thought and effort for my last picks trying to make sure they’ll be enjoyable for a group that has varying personal tastes. (one friend loves horror, one loves fantasy and romance, and i’ll genuinely read anything)

    my past picks:
    recursion by blake crouch
the road to roswell by connie willis
everyone in my family has killed someone by benjamin stevenson

those books have been well received by the group and i’m hoping to continue the streak. please recommend me some crowd pleasers that you expect to go over well in a group with diverse preferences. i try not to pick anything too dense or long as i want to keep this fun and not feel like a chore!

bonus points if the vibe is perfect for november!

Is 11/22/63 too long? There’s a bit of all of those items in there, and it is *tame* (couldn’t think of a better word) for a Stephen king book.
