In the last couple months, I’ve started to really enjoy reading. I am just having trouble deciding what genre to try next, or any book recommendations in any genres I currently read. I think I read more suspense and thriller novels. Recently I’ve read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, Verity, The Girl on the Train and Dark Places. I’m high school I enjoyed To Kill a Mockingbird and The Bridge to Terabithia, and I hated every other book. I’ve enjoyed all the books I’ve read recently, but The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and The Girl on the Train had me the most engaged.

I would highly recommend reading biographies of people you admire. You essentially are a fly on the wall in someone’s life and can learn so much from their successes and failures. I am also always surprised by how much in common I share with person – it is quite comforting.

    2. The Life of Pi and Where the Red Fern Grows were some of my favorites in high school.

If you’re into any thrillers, I’d say Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica. Fantasy/Romance I must say reading (or re-reading) the Twilight Saga is always fun; they’re pretty easy reads but they still keep my focus!
