What is a good book for a person who is always a debbie downer and never sees the good in the world? My dad is in his late 70s, relatively healthy, financially comfortable, owns a home, still married to my mom for almost 58 years, etc. Instead of being grateful that they have their health, have food, have a house, live in a safe city he instead complains about taxes, the government, society in general. I want to tell him there’s people in hospice, people living on the streets, kids living in wore torn countries who would dream to have his problems.
What’s the best book for someone to reexamine gratitude, appreciate what they have, look at the positives, instead of dwelling on the negatives (real or perceived).
