By short i mean under 200-250 pages preferably. Just to get myself started so to speak and so it wouldn’t feel like a routine. Just smth that is really really worth a read (any genre except for horror or something heart wrenching/tragic)
My recent read: The little prince,
Coraline,
Girl, interrupted,
Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible thing. Loved them all very much

I liked Nothing To See Here by Kevin Wilson which got me out of a slump, approx 270 pages but easy read. Also loved Little Prince and Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing.
Starter villain, piranesi, of mice and men
*The Last Unicorn*, by Peter S. Beagle.
*Carrie*, by Stephen King.
*Childhood’s End*, by Arthur C. Clarke.
*And Then There Were None*, by Agatha Christie (a bit longer than 250 pps, but not too much).
Catcher in the Rye
I absolutely adored The Theme Park At The End of the World by Eric R. Asher. It’s a new cozy fantasy that should be released soon if it’s not out yet. (Might not be – I bought the special edition on Kickstarter.) It was just such a delightful read and so terribly cozy. Only downside was how hungry it made me with the depictions of theme park confections. 😆
