This is probably a very weird ask but suggest books that you found to be boring or too slow or horrible writing because of too much or too little world building, flat characters… Anything like that.
Doesn’t matter if you cannot name for certain why the novel/ short story wasn’t what you wanted but of course it would be beneficial if you can!

Normal People by Sally Rooney
I might get some hate for this but I couldn’t stand reading ‘The Great World’ by David Malouf. It felt like there was no plot whatsoever. It’s just here are these two characters, they’re friends, kind of. They both had tough upbringing, met as POWs in the war, and now live different lives: the end.
Anything by Jane Austen; I just can’t get into her novels.
