Hey all.
I read a lot of non-fiction for work but during summer and christmas I have more time to read fiction. I am ordering books now that I will read around Christmas. I plan to read 2-4 books. So my question is. What books would you recommend that were released in the last 6 months or so. I like many genres like historical fiction, surrealism and magical realism, sci-fi, mystery and thrillers.

If you’re open to something with a mix of magical realism and adventure, I’d recommend checking out the *Mer Chronicles* trilogy (*Updrift, Breakwater & Outrush*) by Errin Stevens. It’s a unique blend of fantasy, mystery, and a bit of romance, with siren mythology woven in. It might be a nice escape from your usual non-fiction reads!
