After a recent breakup, I’m realizing how much prior trauma has negatively impacted me (40F). I am working on forgiveness (of myself and others), getting past the trauma, and being less angry/sad/irritable.
I would greatly appreciate any fiction or non-fiction recommendations that are similar to The Midnight Library, The Body Keeps Score, and Untethered Soul.
Thank you! 🙏🏻

If you’ve already read *The Body Keeps the Score* then you should read *The Myth of Normal* by Gabor Matè. Those two books really helped me.
Another book that really helped me, maybe it’s not as applicable for your situation, was “Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents* by Lindsay C Gibson.
Finally, *Man’s Search for Meaning* by Viktor Frankl really provided some excellent perspective that hammered it all home.
