I just finished Matrix by Lauren Groff and love how it explored female ambition (through a surprising lens of an abbess in a nunnery!)
Wondering if folks have any suggestions for books that explore a similar theme with a female main character – like tracking the journey of someone girl bossing/rising to power. Open to any genres, but strongly prefer fiction books and bonus points if characters are very morally grey and do questionable shit!
