Short reads to pass the time at a call centre

I recently started a job at a call centre, and while it's got it's busy moments, it also has slow lulls.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a book of short stories or poetry I can pick up for a little while and put down again just as quick? There's only so many times I can look over work manuals and procedures before my eyes glaze over. Open to just about anything!
