Every time I look on the Kindle Store it's all romance and "spicy" books. I'm a lesbian and I just simply don't want to read about straight sexual tension. some fiction books I've enjoyed are:
Before the Coffee Gets Cold
Chouette
Island of Missing Trees
I usually read nonfiction because I can't get behind a lot of the most recommended fiction books, but sometimes reading about politics and feminism all the time can be a little draining lol
obviously the books I mentioned above all have some sort of romance aspect but it's by no means the main theme. Also, I think they all have bigger messages to take away. Chouette is honestly one of the best books I've ever read
