Can anyone recommend some good girly books?

Long story short, to deal with my trauma I read girlie kids books (rainbow magic, horse books etc), and sadly last night i relived a very traumatic stage of my life, i need this.. does anyone know any good series similar to these types of books.. around ages 10 to 14, nothing with heavy themes (like jaqueline wilson can be)..
Nothing inappropriate or sexual, nothing too heavy involving abuse or murder.. just some simple girly kids books..
