*The Sisters Brothers* by Patrock deWitt is among my favourite books ever. Mainly because of the banter and dialog and because Eli Sisters is such a great character.
It’s about two brothers, Eli and Charlie Sisters, who are hired killers sent to gold rush California to kill a man at the behest of their employer, the Commodore. Eli doesn’t see things the way Charlie does and as their adventure unfolds he begins to consider that maybe this isn’t the life for him.

**The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People** by Stephen Covey.
Probably for obvious reasons. It’s life changing. (And not nearly as dumb as it sounds, though lots of terms originally introduced in the book have morphed into business-speak, which makes for a weird experience.)

Iain Banks – The Wasp Factory, it’s inventive, funny, and very dark. It was his first novel and the vast majority of the rest of his work is also amazing.

I would definitely recommend ‘And Then There Were None’ by Agatha Christie. It’s a short, crisp, thrilling and mind-blowing mystery that will leave you shocked in the end.
For those who want to start reading thriller/mystery or who love this genre – I recommend reading this book once. You would want to finish it one go.
