i loved the familial themes of the book and the mc mother who hid her powers due to society but came through when she had to protect her loved ones. The progression between her and her husband was another delight of the book.
the fighting scenes in this book were the first ones in my entire fantasy reading career that i actually enjoyed and did not skip
i read this book in the beginning of the year and have yet to move on, nothing else seems to hit the way this did.
