Hey everyone! I’m on a quest for a book that can help me appreciate the little things in life and reflect on my own experiences. I’m leaning towards non-fiction or autobiographies, especially stories of resilience, personal growth, or transformative journeys. However, I'm also open to fiction that beautifully captures gratitude, joy, or the human experience in a meaningful way. If you have any recommendations that inspired you or changed your perspective, I’d love to hear them!

If it helps, here is my “ranking” of books over the past 3 years:

Replay by Ken Grimwood
*Horizon* by Barry Lopez, especially the audiobook version.
Lives of the Stoics by Ryan Holliday might be what you’re looking for. It hits on those themes, provides some really interesting role models/examples and covers some really interesting areas of Greek and Roman history.
Midnight Library
Karen by Killilea
Between two kingdoms is outstanding.
Exposed: memoirs of an exotic dancer by CB Haley on Amazon is also a raw story.
Crying in H Mart
Hmm not sure if it fits the bill but Learning to Fall by Philip simmons is my go to. It is a collection of essays by a young father and husband dealing with a palliative diagnosis. They’re not light reading but they’re short and deserve to be reflected on. Mud season is the one I come back to the most.
