I grew up on Halloweentown and Hocus Pocus (what I’d call Spooky Lite) and I don’t like hardcore scary stuff. Any recs that fit this vibe for Halloween? Coraline comes to mind, but other books in this category you all love? Bonus points if it’s YA!

If you enjoyed Coraline (I know I did, and always will-I am turning 35 this year and it’s still one of my favorite books!), then I would definitely suggest [The Graveyard Book](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2213661.The_Graveyard_Book) by the same author!
Some of my other all time faves (all YA!) are:
* [Gustav Gloom](https://www.goodreads.com/series/92889-gustav-gloom) series (I was absolutely taken by the cover art for the first book when I passed it in a store one day, and immediately bought/devoured it)
* [Cirque du Freak](https://www.goodreads.com/series/40449-the-saga-of-darren-shan) and the prequel, (which I would still read after the original series) [The Saga of Larten Crepsley](https://www.goodreads.com/series/51893-the-saga-of-larten-crepsley)
* [The Demonata](https://www.goodreads.com/series/42919-the-demonata) and [Zom-B](https://www.goodreads.com/series/68528-zom-b) (both by the same author of the aforementioned Cirque
The very secret society of irregular witches by Sangu Mandanna
Witch Please by Ann Aguirre
Haunted Ever After by Jen Deluca is a cozy small town romance with a bit of a (friendly) ghost problem!
