I am looking to read some medieval historical fiction books and would appreciate any suggestions. As I have already read the medieval historical fiction books of Philippa Gregory, Ken Follett, and Bernard Cornwell, I am looking for books other than those written by these authors.

For medieval murder mysteries, try the Brother Cadfael novels by Ellis Peters. The first is A Morbid Taste for Bones.
*Katherine* by Anya Seton
Medicus by Ruth Downie. A Roman doctor, Gaius Petrius Ruso, is stationed in Britannia with the Roman army around the 1st century. Also, Sharon Kay Penman. When Christ and His Saints Slept, about the Plantagenets and Here Be Dragons, about 13th century Wales. I enjoyed both authors.
The Bright Sword by Lev Grossman! It’s not really historical fiction, but is a great reworking of Arthurian mythology!
