I read and loved Oliver Sacks books (like “The Man who Mistook His Wife for a Hat”), and I’ve listened to a number of podcasts on topics like neuroplasticity, face blindness, aphantasia, etc. Our brains are just so wonderful and weird and fascinating that I’d love to read more books on the topic. Does anyone have any recommendations? I would be interested both in books on the science as well as stories and memoirs from doctors and/or “regular” people who’ve dealt with unusual conditions.
