The book doesn’t have to be about the conversion. For instance, Lionel Dahmer’s book A Father’s Story takes place right before Jeffrey converts, or The Green River Killer book by Ann Rule doesn’t include Ridgway’s conversion: if I have to look at some other source to see the actual conversion, that’s fine!
