Prefer non-fiction, but open to fiction around real events. My problem is, a large number of the books I’ve found dealing with spies / spy rings are centered around the US / Soviet spies in the Cold War, and while that’s all cool, it’s very oversaturated. I’m looking for something less modern I guess. Our Man in Charleston about the British spy in the Confederate South is another good example of what I’m looking for.
