I really liked Dune, and I’ve read the first 6 books. Maybe it’s the fact I’m older or maybe it’s the fact I’m a father now but I have a hard time relating to Paul and the young antagonist trope. I’m looking for something much like OG Dune but from Leto’s perspective as if he were to politic his way into power over arakis. Can be fantasy, or sci-fi, or historical fiction. Is there anything out there like that?
