It's in the title. Currently have full time job and grad school. I have realized that outside of schoolwork, my brain needs the equivalent of candy. Looking for something that's just plain fun (and ideally funny) to distress my brain without being too much to digest or too much of a bummer. Any genre welcome.

John Scalzi’s **Starter Villain** is the most entertaining book I’ve read recently. It’s a spoof of the early James Bond movies. A substitute teacher inherits his estranged uncle’s villainy which comes complete with a secret volcanic lair.
If you want fantasy, Legends and Lattes is the book equivalent of a great cup of coffee paired with your fav baked good.
