The And I Darken series by Kiersten White are the only historic fic books I've ever read. I finished it like a year ago and now it's haunting me. It's making me crave more historic fic. I need help finding a book that has a similar vibe. I want to feel the history. It doesn't need to have romance, doesn't need to have feminism like the And I Darken series. I just need the history. As for time period, I'd prefer something that doesn't involve anything modern. A series is fine as long as it wont go above 3 books but for the sake of time and money, a standalone would be best.
